“At 12 years old my guitar teacher gave me a new homework assignment: write a song. Not knowing what else to do, I wrote a song about writing a song, but it sparked enough in me to keep writing.”

Now she writes of much more, of past lives full of grief as in ‘The Crows’, to the lost language of the female body in ‘Síle’, or dating in the grassroots music scene in ‘Muse’, with encompassing themes of Irish heritage, spirituality and wants of a brighter future.

Born and raised in Cork, Irish culture informs her sound and lyrics but the effects of emigrating to England shine through in their own ways. Accompanied by a five piece band including violin, she creates a hauntingly modern yet nostalgic atmosphere in every song.
